Our hormones that are sometimes called "feel-good hormones" can cause a chemical off balance in promoting happiness and pleasure, and reduce anxiety and depression.


Each hormone has different effects:


  • Dopamine: Supports feelings of motivation and reward

  • Serotonin: maintain emotions

  • Endorphins: increases happiness levels, improve self-esteem, and ease stress, anxiety, and depression

  • Oxytocin: the "love" hormone, it can give you a feeling of pleasure from connection and affection


Ways to induce your hormone production:


  • Cuddle

  • Aromatherapy

  • Get a massage

  • Have sex

  • Listening to feel-good music

  • Take a nap

  • Speak to someone

  • Workout

  • Take a walk in the park
